Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of RubanBill ("the Service"), operated by Ruban Softwares, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
RubanBill provides GST-compliant invoicing, quotations, payment tracking, reporting and related tools. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
2. Accounts & responsibility
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, including GSTIN, tax rates and customer details.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity by staff users you invite.
- You must comply with applicable Indian tax and business laws when using the Service.
3. Tax compliance disclaimer
RubanBill assists with GST calculation and report generation but does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice. You remain responsible for the correctness of your filings. Verify all figures, and consult a qualified professional where needed.
4. Plans, billing & trials
- Paid plans are billed monthly via Razorpay. New accounts may receive a time-limited Pro trial that reverts to the Free plan unless upgraded.
- Plan limits (e.g. monthly invoice counts) are enforced and shown in your account.
- Prices may change with prior notice; changes do not affect an already-paid period.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, attempt to access other tenants' data, reverse engineer the platform, or use it for unlawful billing or fraud. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent permitted by law.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. You can export your data before closure.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Trichy, Tamil Nadu.
